Are the Four Transformations good-and-bad labels, or a flow system in the chart?

What Are Hua Lu, Hua Quan, Hua Ke, and Hua Ji?

The Four modernizations describe how resource, power, Chemical Science, and Transform into taboo move between palaces. They are routes of attention and responsibility, not four fixed grades of luck.

Direct answer: the Four Transformations describe movement, not four verdicts

Hua Lu, Hua Quan, Hua Ke, and Hua Ji are best read as different ways attention, resources, responsibility, and pressure move through a chart. Hualu can show access, nourishment, attraction, or a resource that becomes available. Hua Quan can show power, initiative, authority, or the workload and contest that authority creates. Hua Ke, here called Chemical Science, can show explanation, recognition, documentation, decoration, or a buffer that makes a matter legible. Hua Ji, or Transform into taboo, can show attachment, blockage, debt, correction, or a point that demands careful handling. None is automatically “good” or “bad.” Read source star, transformation, destination palace, domain, network, and timing before judging the result.

Palace layer: the destination names the field where the flow becomes real

A transformation does not define a person by itself; the destination palace identifies the life field that receives the flow. Hualu arriving in Wealth may concern access to money, pricing, or resource support, while Hualu arriving in Couple may concern availability, attraction, or exchange. Power arriving in Career may concern authority and accountability, not automatic promotion. Chemical Science arriving in Migration may concern public explanation or reputation, not guaranteed fame. Transform into taboo arriving in Ford may concern rumination, private obligation, or recovery work, not inevitable illness. Name the field and the concrete task before attaching an interpretation.

Star layer: the source star supplies the style and trigger

The source star shows what kind of function is sending the flow: organization, analysis, negotiation, production, protection, visibility, or another operating style. Auxiliary and difficult stars can change access, delay, cost, volatility, or the amount of support required. The same Hualu can nourish a stable resource process or make a person over-available; the same Power can create useful authority or a fight over control. Chemical Science can clarify a process or decorate a weak one. Transform into taboo can flag a repairable bottleneck or a costly attachment. The star supplies the style; the palace and behavior determine the expression.

Network mechanics: a flow changes a relationship between fields

Read the destination with Three Parties and Four Uprightnesses, the opposite palace, and the connected fields. A flow from Life to Career may connect personal initiative with public responsibility; a flow from Career to Wealth may connect output with pricing or budget; a flow from Migration to Couple may bring external attention into relationship negotiation. The network can show where a resource is received, where power is checked, where Chemical Science buffers misunderstanding, or where Transform into taboo exposes a dependency. Do not say that a transformation “affects everything.” Name the route and the field that carries its consequence.

Four Transformations: trace source, route, destination, and domain

Use a four-part trace: source star, transformation, destination palace, and practical domain. Then ask whether the flow is natal, generated by the palace stem, or activated by the chosen time layer according to the school’s rules. Hualu may open a resource route; Power may concentrate decision rights; Chemical Science may make a matter explainable or socially acceptable; Transform into taboo may concentrate attention on a debt, limit, repair, or forbidden shortcut. These are hypotheses about movement. They become useful only when the domain, network, and observed behavior confirm what is actually moving.

Natal pattern and timing: separate a route from its activation

A natal transformation can describe a recurring route of access, authority, explanation, or pressure. A major cycle may place that route in a new institution, relationship, project, or market. An annual layer may activate a contract, review, deadline, public response, budget decision, or repair conversation. Timing does not turn Hualu into permanent wealth or Transform into taboo into permanent misfortune. It tells you when to inspect the route, what evidence to collect, and whether the current setting can carry the flow.

Worked case: a community studio follows a grant from promise to pressure

Imagine a fictional chart for a community studio. A source star in Career sends Hualu to Wealth, Power to Career, Chemical Science to Migration, and Transform into taboo to Ford during a major cycle. The studio receives a grant opportunity. Hualu to Wealth asks whether the funding can become equipment, staff time, and a reserve rather than only an attractive promise. Power in Career asks who can approve spending and who carries delivery responsibility. Chemical Science in Migration asks how the studio will document outcomes for the public and funder. Transform into taboo in Ford asks whether the director is privately attached to rescuing every participant and is ignoring recovery capacity. The studio assigns a budget owner, publishes scope, records staff hours, uses a simple impact report, protects rest time, and reviews the pilot after eight weeks. The Four Transformations do not say “grant equals success”; they map the resources, authority, explanation, and pressure that must be managed.

Contrast: the same transformation can help or overload a field

Hualu can provide access but also invite excess commitments when no boundary controls availability. Power can protect a mission through clear authority or create conflict when rights are unclear. Chemical Science can help a strong process become visible or make a weak process look polished without fixing it. Transform into taboo can identify a repairable constraint, but denial can turn it into delay and cost. Compare the same transformation in different destinations: Power in Life may change self-management, while Power in Career changes role authority. The transformation is not the whole meaning.

Misreads: do not turn flow into fate

Do not read Hualu as guaranteed money, Power as guaranteed promotion, Chemical Science as guaranteed fame, or Transform into taboo as guaranteed disaster. Do not use one transformation to predict marriage, health, death, safety, betrayal, wealth, or failure. Do not ignore the source, destination, school rules, network, consent, resources, and behavior. An empty palace does not erase the route, and a strong flow does not remove the need for boundaries. If the transformation is not relevant to the question, do not force it into the reading.

Verification: turn a transformation route into a management test

Record the question, school, source star, transformation, destination palace, domain, natal or time layer, Three Parties and Four Uprightnesses, opposite palace, connected fields, resource, authority, explanation, attachment, cost, support, consent, observable behavior, counterexample, action, pilot, stop condition, and review date. Test Hualu with a resource ledger, Power with a responsibility matrix, Chemical Science with documentation and external feedback, and Transform into taboo with a boundary, repair plan, or risk reserve. A useful transformation reading makes flow accountable.
