In Ziwei Dou Shu, repeated evidence means that different parts of the chart point toward the same practical theme without relying on one symbol alone. A palace defines the field, stars describe a mode of operation, the palace network adds supply or cost, Four Transformations show movement, a time layer activates the issue, and reality provides an observable check. The conclusion becomes more stable when these signals converge and weaker when they are merely copied from one another. “There is a bad star” is not repeated evidence; “authority, public exposure, and repair work keep appearing around the same career decision” is a testable Main line.

Start by naming the palace and the real question. Life may describe how a person approaches a problem, Career may describe role and delivery, Wealth may describe acquisition, liquidity, obligations, and risk, and Migration may describe external markets or public conditions. Do not treat a palace as a personality label. If the question is whether a freelancer can accept a large overseas contract, the relevant field may include Wealth for payment and reserves, Career for delivery, and Migration for external trust. Evidence from a different field may be relevant context, but it cannot be counted as direct support.

Main stars, auxiliary stars, and difficult stars contribute different kinds of evidence. The main star gives a mode such as organizing, analyzing, exposing, pricing, cutting, or restarting. Auxiliary stars may add language, coordination, protection, or access; difficult stars may add speed, friction, volatility, scrutiny, or repair cost. These are not interchangeable votes for “good” or “bad.” If the same chart repeatedly shows Wuqu-like settlement and pricing, that supports a theme of formalizing money; it does not prove wealth without a liquidity plan. Describe what the stars do, then ask whether the action matches the palace question.

Check Three Parties and Four Uprightnesses, the opposite palace, and the linked palaces before calling a theme repeated. The network may confirm a supply line, reveal a missing counterparty, or show that the apparent support depends on a fragile resource. A Wealth signal can look strong in its own palace while the opposite palace shows debt or family obligations; a Career signal can look promising while Migration shows client concentration. Network evidence is not an extra copy of the original palace. It tests whether the theme travels through the structure and what it costs to maintain it.

Four Transformations become repeated evidence only when their source and destination are named. Hualu may show access or resource attraction, Hua Quan responsibility or decision rights, Hua Ke visibility or explanation, and Hua Ji attachment, blockage, contradiction, or repair. Do not treat every transformation as automatically relevant to every theme. If a Wealth question has Hualu entering Wealth but Hua Ji flows from Migration into the same transaction, the chart may repeat “money is available through external work” and “external work carries repair or collection cost.” The source–destination chain is more informative than simply saying “there is Hualu.”

Natal evidence describes a recurring pattern, a major cycle changes the setting in which it is tested, and an annual layer may activate a deadline, offer, dispute, purchase, or repair. A theme is stronger when the time layer activates an existing structure, but a short period should not be promoted into permanent destiny. If the natal chart repeatedly emphasizes formal contracts and the current major cycle brings international clients, an annual deadline may test that skill. If only one annual symbol appears while the rest of the chart disagrees, mark it as a trigger or question, not proof.

Consider a fictional chart for a designer deciding whether to accept a large overseas contract. The question is not “is the chart lucky?” but “can the work be delivered and collected without exhausting the person?” Palace layer: Wealth defines payment, reserves, and obligations; Career defines delivery; Migration defines the external client relationship. Star layer: Wuqu-like signatures support pricing and settlement, while a sharp auxiliary condition suggests strict milestones rather than informal trust. Network layer: Three Parties show production capacity, but the opposite palace shows family expenses that reduce the cash buffer. Four Transformations: Hualu enters Wealth from the client-facing field, while Hua Ji returns from Migration into Wealth, repeating access plus collection friction. Timing: the major cycle expands international work and the annual layer creates a short launch window. The Main line is therefore conditional: accept only with a deposit, milestone invoices, written change control, and a reserve for delayed payment. Reality can Verify it through the signed terms, first payment, workload hours, and collection behavior.

Compare two charts or two readings of the same chart. In one case, a single Hua Ji in Wealth is surrounded by stable contracts, reserves, and no network confirmation; it is a prompt to inspect cash flow, not proof of loss. In another case, several independent layers show pricing pressure, debt obligations, external-client friction, and an annual collection deadline; the theme deserves higher priority. Do not count a palace summary, its copied FAQ, and the same star description as three signals. Also do not ignore disconfirming evidence. Empty or quiet evidence does not mean “no event”; it means the claim needs a different source or a narrower scope.

For each supporting signal, record its source, the question it addresses, the mechanism it implies, and whether it is independent of another signal. Then record counterevidence: a helpful transformation with no capacity, a strong palace with a weak network, or a good contract with poor payment behavior. A practical threshold is not a fixed number of stars. It is convergence across at least two different evidence types plus a plausible mechanism and an observable check. If the chart says “external money is possible,” Verify the source, terms, timing, workload, and payment record. If those fail, revise the judgment rather than protecting the interpretation.

Use repeated evidence to set a bounded experiment: request a deposit, run a small pilot, cap hours, separate personal and business reserves, document consent, or schedule a review before expanding. Keep the conclusion conditional and state what would falsify it. Ziwei Dou Shu cannot replace medical, legal, financial, therapeutic, workplace, or emergency support, and it cannot guarantee an outcome. The value of a Main line is not certainty. It is a narrower question, a clearer mechanism, a defined risk, and an action that preserves the person’s ability to revise course.
