The Life Palace can determine a person's starting method, self-centeredness, and first reaction to the world, but personality is not determined solely by the Life Palace. How a person acts, how he settles down, how he reacts in relationships, and how he faces pressure all depend on his life body, merit, the three directions and four righteousnesses, and the four transformations.

If you only look at the life palace, you will read the person as a static label; only if you look at the whole chart together, you will know how this person lives out himself in reality.

The body palace shows where a person later puts his efforts and which areas will train his real identity. The Palace of Fortune looks at inner satisfaction, quality of rest, mental digestion and true stability. Many people's external personality and internal state are not consistent. This gap can only be explained by looking at the combination of destiny, body, and merit.

For example, a person who looks strong may have uneasy fortune; a person who appears to be gentle may have high-pressure responsibilities for a long time.

If a certain type of Four Transformations repeatedly affects the Life Palace, Fortune Palace, Body Palace or Life and Wealth Palace, the main character line will be more obvious. People with a lot of power are not necessarily strong, but they are often pushed to take responsibility; people with a lot of power are not necessarily pessimistic, but they tend to worry about certain topics repeatedly.

Personality is not an adjective, but a pattern of responses that is repeated over time.

Practical personality judgment should help people know how to make choices, how to be triggered, how to restore energy, and how to avoid dealing with all problems in the same way. It shouldn't just be "you're smart, you're strong, you're sensitive."

Zi Wei believes that the value of character is to let people understand their own structure rather than being fixed by labels.

A personality reading should state whether it is using the Life Palace, Body Palace, opposite palace, triad, principal stars, supporting stars, transformations, or a time layer. These components describe a symbolic organization of temperament, attention, embodiment, or self-presentation within a declared Zi Wei school. They do not produce a complete psychological profile. Keep the chart holder's reported experience, observed behavior, and the interpreter's inference in separate columns.

Imagine a fictional chart with a strong principal star in the Life Palace and a different emphasis in the Body Palace. Instead of writing that the person has one true personality, ask when each pattern appears: planning alone, leading a meeting, caring for family, or responding under stress. Record the actual behavior, resource, audience, and consequence. A useful reading might identify a tension between private preparation and public action, then propose one observation to test it.

The Life Palace is not a diagnosis, and the Body Palace is not proof that a person must act in a particular way. A difficult star does not make someone bad, while an auspicious star does not make them mature or reliable. The opposite palace and triad can add context, but more chart labels do not automatically create more certainty. Do not use a personality reading to excuse harm, reject feedback, or override the person's own account.

Record birth data, school, Life Palace, Body Palace, axis, triad, stars, transformations, time layer, predicted behavior, context, observer, counterexample, action, and review date. Compare at least two settings and note what changes when the audience or pressure changes. Zi Wei cannot diagnose personality, mental health, character, or safety, and cannot replace medical, legal, financial, psychological, or professional advice. If the chart conflicts with clear behavior, revise the interpretation.

A chart may help a reader describe where attention, effort, or self-presentation tends to be negotiated, but it cannot supply a clinical category or a moral verdict. If a person appears guarded in one setting, ask whether privacy, power, language, fatigue, or prior experience explains the behavior. If the person acts openly elsewhere, that is not a failure of the chart; it is a condition the interpretation must include. Use the Life Palace and Body Palace to form a small, testable hypothesis, then let repeated observations and the person's own explanation decide whether the hypothesis remains useful.

When the chart and the reader's account disagree, document the disagreement rather than correcting the person to match the star. Ask what the label helps them notice and what it makes harder to see. A professional article can retain a symbolic question while rejecting a claim that the person is inherently difficult, passive, dominant, or destined to repeat a pattern. The result should improve observation and choice, not reduce the person to a palace and a star.

A principal star does not operate in a vacuum. Authority, language, fatigue, family duty, audience, resources, and a time-layer activation can change which part of a symbolic pattern is visible. For a fictional case, a reader may look decisive when they have clear authority but become cautious when the cost of error is carried by dependents. That difference is not noise to be explained away; it is part of the reading. State the condition, the observable behavior, and the evidence that would show the interpretation is too broad. This keeps personality language connected to circumstance rather than turning it into an unchangeable label.

Write that the chart may describe a tendency under stated conditions, then name the observation that would revise it. Conditional language is part of accurate personality work, not a weakness in the reading.
